Prestigious ‘Friends in Business’ Award

On Saturday 21st March, Robert van den Berg (former owner of RGR Shipping BV) presented Mr. Frank Rosier (CEO Slade Global) with the prestigious award for ‘Friends in Business’ at Mr. Van den Berg’s retirement dinner. It was one of 6 awards presented to customers and contractors but the only award of its kind to be presented to a competitor. This award was presented personally by Robert van den Berg to thank Mr. Rosier for 32 years of working together in both a professional and most harmonious way. This award was presented with great respect to the fact that Mr. van den Berg and Mr. Rosier had been competitors during all that time.

It is with great admiration that this award was presented and further proof that competitors in business, should strive to conduct themselves at all times both professionally and honorably and look to support one another. It was a great tribute to two of the industry’s most respected characters.

The trophy was placed in Slade Global’s Head Quarters in Rotterdam.
